Try to understand:
1. Is it going to be difficult to study when using a second language?
2. Is it going to be hard to live alone without family around?
3. Is there going to be huge cultural bumps when people joined into another culture?
4. What is going to be change for their future if people choose to going abroad than staying?
5. How can they get on well with people from different cultures?
First try to make friends with them, i think it should be easier for me since i am an international student
Second starting to do the interview, ask questions deeper and deeper as the process goes on
Third make a conclusion from the answers i get from several interviewers
Fourth try to see if there are some similarities bwtween me and others
Fifth knowing another person's story is helpful and interesting
Sixth build up relationships with people from different cultures

I like your objectives, and believe they will be the key to having a good interview
ReplyDeleteI don't get your last objective though. Are you trying to know about how can cultural differences be avoided or you wanted to know how to get on well on general things like lifestyle?
ReplyDeleteYour objectives should mention the process you will be using. How will you prepare, conduct, and report the interview?

These questions looks good but the process of conducting an interview should be added up.
ReplyDeleteYou know what you're going to ask but you have to add how you are going to ask those questions.good job
ReplyDeleteYour objectvies are good questions for the interview, but you might want to be a little more specific of the process of the interview
ReplyDeletetryinig to be friends is nice and a good idea. good thought
ReplyDeleteYeah, we are on the same boat! We know how hard to be away home.
ReplyDeletei tihnk you're ready to go
ReplyDeleteYour objectives sound really good and you could maybe even take some time and compare your experiences since you have been here in America as well!
ReplyDeleteI like your questions. They are well organized and very detailed. But i think you may want to be more focusing on the cultural aspects in your report, instead of just general questions and answer.
ReplyDeleteawesome objectives, well thought out and planned making for a good interview.
ReplyDeleteGreat start, but you may want to include more details on how your are going to prepare for the interview as well as how you are going conduct your interview. Also be sure to include the required material for the project such as recording the interview and creating a transcription.
ReplyDeleteI think you have a good understanding of how you would like the interview to flow. I had a hard time understanding #5--you should consider rewording it. Do you think that you can maintain a professional setting if you become really good friends with the person before interviewing him/her? Also, in what ways do you think their stories might help you?
ReplyDeleteI think you have a good understanding of how you want the interview to go. Being an international student yourself i think will benefit the interview because the person being interviewed wont be as nervous.
ReplyDeleteThis is a good list of questions. It is a good start. I think it will help you out in some ways because you are an international student.
ReplyDeleteI think the questions are good. I kind of relate with them as I am also an international student. I think these are things that every international student goes through.
ReplyDeleteYour objectives and questions are good. You have a good start. Maybe have more ways that you are going to prepare before hand.
ReplyDeleteWhere can I find the new, edited objectives?
ReplyDeletecheers
